New Delhi, Oct 21 (CRICKETNMORE) -  Sri Lanka has agreed to play 5 ODI match series as a replacement for the West Indies incomplete tour. The tour will start with a practise match on 30th October to be played between Sri Lanka and India A at the Brabourne Stadium. Manoj Tiwari will lead the India A.

The series is very important for both the team as preperations for World Cup 2015 has already started and its a great opportunity for youngsters to perform and reserve birth for the tournament. The BCCI has announced a 15-member team for the first three ODIs against Sri Lanka. Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was rested for the first three of the five One-Day Internationals (ODI) against Sri Lanka, starting Nov 2, while Virat Kohli was named the stand-in skipper of the 15-man squad selected Tuesday.

Off Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin returned to the squad while left-arm tweaker Kuldeep Yadav was left out. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has also been rested for the first three matches. Ishant Sharma and  Varun Aaron makes a comeback.

The five ODIs of the series will be played at Cuttack, Hyderabad, Ranchi, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. sri Lanka is yet to announce its team for India tour.

India squad: Virat Kohli (Captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Wriddhiman Saha, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Amit Mishra, Murali Vijay, Varun Aaron, Axar Patel.

India A squad: Manoj Tiwary (Captain), Unmukt Chand, Manan Vohra, Karun Nair, Rohit Sharma, Kedar Jadhav, Sanju Samson, Parvez Rasool, Karn Sharma, Stuart Binny, Dhaval Kulkarni, Jaspreet Bumrah, Manish Pandey, Kuldeep Yadav.
