    World Champion Neeraj Chopra: World Champion Neeraj Chopra on Monday thanked Indian fans for staying up late and watching his event. Neeraj won a historic maiden gold medal for India in the World Athletics Championships, claiming the top spot in the men's javelin throw competition here.

    His event started at 11:45 PM IST (On Sunday) and went on till 1 AM at night.
