ग्रेट ब्रिटेन को पेनल्टी में शूटकर भारत सेमीफाइनल में
शूटआउट में भारत ने अपने चार निशाने साधे, जबकि ग्रेट-ब्रिटेन दो निशाने ही लगा पाया। पिछले टोक्यो ओलंपिक में कांस्य पदक जीतने वाले भारत ने इस जीत के साथ सेमीफाइनल में जगह बना ली है। जीतने के बाद भारतीय खिलाड़ी और समर्थक खुशी से झूम उठे।
Great Britain: भारत ने ग्रेट-ब्रिटेन को पेरिस ओलंपिक की हॉकी प्रतियोगिता के क्वार्टर फाइनल में रविवार को शूटआउट में 4-2 से पराजित कर सेमीफाइनल में प्रवेश कर लिया। निर्धारित 60 मिनट तक दोनों टीमें 1-1 की बराबरी पर रहीं। इसके बाद शूटआउट के जरिए विजेता का फैसला हुआ।
