Indian Athletics Series: Sreeshankar Stamps His Authority In Men’s Long Jump
Of the six legal attempts, the star long jumper from Kerala had three legal jumps. His second jump was 7.90m, while his fourth attempt was 8.04m. He dug deep in his last and final attempt to further improve his performance, but settled for 7.97m.
Earlier in April, a 27-year-old recorded a jump of 8.15m, a season best during a domestic meet in Bengaluru. Recently, during the South African exposure tour, he recorded a jump of 8.12m.
