नई दिल्ली, 5 दिसंबर (आईएएनएस) युवा मुक्केबाज पायल, निशा और आकांशा ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए आर्मेनिया के येरेवन में 2023 आईबीए जूनियर विश्व मुक्केबाजी चैंपियनशिप में चैंपियन बनीं, जबकि भारत ने 17 पदकों के साथ प्रभावशाली अभियान का समापन किया।

पायल ने लड़कियों के 48 किग्रा फाइनल में सर्वसम्मत निर्णय से आर्मेनिया की स्थानीय पसंदीदा पेट्रोसियन हेघिन को हराकर भारत को प्रतिष्ठित चैंपियनशिप में पहला स्वर्ण पदक दिलाया।
