16वीं वरीयता प्राप्त भारतीय जोड़ी को शुरुआती दौर में बाई मिला था, जिसके बाद आयरिश जोड़ी को 21-11, 21-16 से सीधे गेम में शिकस्त देकर तीसरे दौर में प्रवेश किया।
