रांची, 13 जनवरी (आईएएनएस) पूर्व एशियाई खेलों के स्वर्ण पदक विजेता जापान ने प्रत्येक हाफ में एक-एक गोल करके महिला एफआईएच हॉकी ओलंपिक क्वालीफायर में अपने अभियान की शुरुआत यहां मारंग गोमके एस्ट्रो टर्फ हॉकी स्टेडियम में शनिवार को चेक गणराज्य पर 2-0 की आसान जीत के साथ की।

जापान ने पूल ए मैच में शुरुआती बढ़त ले ली, मियू सुजुकी ने चौथे मिनट में पेनल्टी कॉर्नर को गोल में बदल दिया और फिर 40वें मिनट में पेनल्टी स्ट्रोक पर शिहोरी ओइकावा के माध्यम से एक और गोल करके अपना दबदबा बनाए रखा और विजेता बनी।
