2025 पुरुष चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी टूर इस्लामाबाद से शुरू होगा : आईसीसी
Champions Trophy: अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट परिषद (आईसीसी) ने घोषणा की कि 2025 पुरुष चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी टूर शनिवार को इस्लामाबाद से शुरू होगा। ट्रॉफी को शहर के प्रसिद्ध स्थलों जैसे दमन-ए-कोह, फैसल मस्जिद और पाकिस्तान स्मारक में भी प्रदर्शित किया जाएगा, जिसमें दिग्गज तेज गेंदबाज शोएब अख्तर भी मौजूद रहेंगे।
ट्रॉफी टूर हर बड़े आईसीसी इवेंट से पहले एक प्रमोशनल इवेंट होता है, लेकिन गुरुवार को पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड (पीसीबी) द्वारा घोषणा किए जाने के बाद यह एक बड़े विवाद में फंस गया कि स्कार्दू, मुरी, हुंजा और मुजफ्फराबाद जैसे स्थान - जिनमें से तीन पाकिस्तान के कब्जे वाले कश्मीर (पीओके) में आते हैं - ट्रॉफी टूर सूची में होंगे।
भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) द्वारा शुक्रवार को कड़ी आपत्ति जताए जाने के बाद आईसीसी द्वारा घोषित ट्रॉफी टूर कार्यक्रम में केवल मुरी को ही रखा गया है, जबकि 25 नवंबर तक पाकिस्तान संस्करण की यात्रा के लिए तक्षशिला, खानपुर, एबटाबाद, नथिया गली और कराची जैसे स्थानों को सूची में रखा गया है।
