चेन्नई, 23 मार्च (CRICKETNMORE)| मौजूदा चैम्पियन चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स ने इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) के 12वें संस्करण के पहले मैच में विजयी शुरुआत करते हुए शनिवार को रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बैंगलोर को सात विकेट से हरा दिया। चेन्नई ने यहां एमए चिदंबरम स्टेडियम में टॉस जीतकर पहले गेंदबाजी करते हुए बैंगलोर को 17.1 ओवर में 70 रन पर ढेर कर दिया और फिर तीन विकेट खोकर 17.4 ओवर में लक्ष्य हासिल कर लिया।

बैंगलोर से मिले 71 रन के लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरी चेन्नई की शुरुआत भी खराब रही और टीम ने आठ रन के स्कोर पर शेन वाटसन (0) का विकेट गंवा दिया। इसके बाद अंबाती रायडू (28) और सुरेश रैना (19) ने दूसरे विकेट के लिए 32 रन की साझेदारी की।
