    Arthur Ashe Stadium: Ben Shelton described sharing the court with Carlos Alcaraz as an 'absolute honour' after producing a stunning five-set victory over the defending champion in a thrilling US Open quarter-final.

    Shelton defeated Alcaraz 6-7(5), 6-1, 6-3, 1-6, 7-6(10/7) in a four-hour and 28-minute battle that went down to the final points.

    “I’m just so grateful, so blessed. God’s blessed me in so many ways. To be here in front of you guys tonight is an absolute honour. Sharing the court with Carlos is an absolute honour, and I cherish every moment that I have out here,” Shelton said after the match.
