Manager Jose Mourinho: Manager Jose Mourinho has backed Vinicius Junior to return to his best form after the Real Madrid forward was booed by sections of the home crowd during the club’s 2-1 Champions League win over Inter on Wednesday.
Vinicius was substituted in the 87th minute at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, prompting some supporters to express frustration with his performance. The Brazil international had struggled to make a decisive impact against Inter’s organised defence.
However, Mourinho refused to criticise the winger and instead highlighted the effort he put in for the team.
