Pistol Shooters Renew Quest For Paris Quotas

Asian Olympic Qualification Rifle: The Indian rifle and pistol squads air pistol shooters will renew their quest for Paris 2024 Olympic quota places at the Asian Olympic Qualification Rifle & Pistol, competitions for which are scheduled to begin in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta from Monday. A total of 16 Paris quota places are available at the continental showpiece, however only the Indian pistol shooters will be in contention for as many as five possible berths that they can grab.
The 10m Air Pistol for Men and Women, which have four quotas on offer and a maximum of three among them which India can win, begin on Monday with three Indians in contention in each of the two Olympic events.
Qualification rounds begin at 10 am IST while the two finals are slated for 12.30 pm (Men) and 4.30 pm (Women).
