भारत और अफगानिस्तान के बीच शनिवार को चेन्नई में तीसरा वनडे मैच खेला गया, जिसमें आईसीसी कोड ऑफ कंडक्ट के लेवल 1 का उल्लंघन करने पर अफगानिस्तान के कप्तान हशमतुल्लाह शाहिदी को आधिकारिक तौर पर फटकार लगाई गई है।

आईसीसी ने एक बयान में कहा, "हशमतुल्लाह को खिलाड़ियों और खिलाड़ी सहायता कर्मियों के लिए आईसीसी कोड ऑफ कंडक्ट के आर्टिकल 2.10.10 का उल्लंघन करते हुए पाया गया। यह नियम तब लागू होता है, जब कोई बल्लेबाज पिच को जानबूझकर या उससे बचा जा सकने वाला नुकसान पहुंचाता है।"
