    BCCI following 'wait and watch' policy for Sri Lanka tour in August

    New Delhi, June 10: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has said that they are still following the ‘wait and watch policy when it comes to the tour of Sri Lanka for a limited-overs series in August. With an eye on the coronavirus pandemic, the board is clear that it will abide by the directions issued by the government as player safety is priority.

    Speaking to IANS, a BCCI official said that it was too early to comment on the tour considering that it is almost two months away and the situation with regards to the pandemic keeps changing and the government is constantly pushing out fresh directives with an eye on human lives.
