महिला विश्व कप : हार से निराश स्मृति मंधाना, यकीन था कि भारत जीत हासिल करेगा
होल्कर स्टेडियम में रविवार को खेले मुकाबले में इंग्लैंड ने पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए 8 विकेट खोकर 288 रन बनाए। इसके जवाब में टीम इंडिया निर्धारित ओवरों में 6 विकेट खोकर 284 रन ही बना सकी। सलामी बल्लेबाज स्मृति मंधाना ने 94 गेंदों में 8 चौकों की मदद से 88 रन की पारी खेली, लेकिन टीम जीत दर्ज नहीं कर सकी।
मंधाना 41.2 ओवर में लिंसी स्मिथ की गेंद पर कैच आउट हुईं। उस वक्त भारत को जीत के लिए 51 रन की दरकार थी। इंग्लैंड के खेमे में जश्न का माहौल था, लेकिन स्टेडियम में मौजूद भारतीय फैंस खामोश थे।
