Here are some interesting facts, trivia, and records about Marcus Stoinis: 

1) Marcus Stoinis represented Australia in Hong King sixes in 2009 along with Glenn Maxwell and Josh Hazlewood.

2) Stoinis once smashed 146* batting at number 7 against New Zealand. This is  the highest score by an Australian in that position in ODIs. 

3) In the same match, Stoinis and Josh Hazlewood shared a 54-run partnership for the 10th wicket. It was a special stand as it was the highest partnership for the 10th wicket when one partner didn't score even a single run. 

4) Marcus Stoinis wanted to be an architect when he was growing up. 

5) Stoinis went to England in 2012 to play in Peterborough Town Cricket Club in the Northampton Premier League. He grabbed everyone's eyeballs when he took a hat-trick in one match. 

6) In 2015, while playing for National Performance Squad, Marcus Stoinis smashed six sixes in an over against National Indigenous Squad. Brendan Smith was the bowler at the receiver's end. 

7) While playing for Western Australia, Stoinis' teammates nicknamed him Stonia. However, his name once again changed when he went to play for Victoria. He was named Oil. 

8) Marcus Stoinis has so far played 45 ODIs and scored 1106 runs and taken 33 wickets. The allrounder played 95 List-A matches in which he has scored 2478 and picked up 71 wickets. Stoinis' 3255 first-class runs have come in 61 matches, in which he has 66 scalps to his name.
