डब्ल्यूपीएल 2026: जब आरसीबी ने रिटेन किया, खुशी से रो पड़ी थीं श्रेयंका पाटिल
Royal Challengers Bangalore: रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बेंगलुरु (आरसीबी) की ऑलराउंडर श्रेयंका पाटिल ने कहा कि चोटों के कारण एक साल से ज्यादा क्रिकेट न खेलने के बावजूद जब उन्हें 2024 विमेंस प्रीमियर लीग (डब्ल्यूपीएल) चैंपियन टीम ने रिटेन किया, तो वह खुशी से रो पड़ी थीं।
श्रेयंका पाटिल ने डब्ल्यूपीएल 2024 में सर्वाधिक 13 विकेट लेकर 'पर्पल कैप' और 'इमर्जिंग प्लेयर ऑफ द सीजन' का खिताब अपने नाम किया था, लेकिन अगले सीजन ग्रेड-थ्री शिन स्प्लिंट्स के दोबारा होने और दाहिनी कलाई में स्ट्रेस रिएक्शन के कारण नहीं खेल सकीं। इसके बावजूद श्रेयंका को आरसीबी ने 60 लाख रुपये में रिटेन किया। यह टीम 2023/24 सीजन की विजेता रही है।
श्रेयंका ने गुरुवार को वर्चुअल प्री-सीजन प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में 'आईएएनएस' के एक सवाल का जवाब देते हुए बताया, "जब मुझे वह कॉल आया कि मुझे रिटेन कर लिया गया है, तो मैं कैसा महसूस कर रही थी, इसे शब्दों में बयां नहीं किया जा सकता। मालो सर (मालोलन रंगराजन) ने मुझे फोन किया और उन्होंने कहा- 'पाटिल, तुम्हें रिटेन कर लिया गया है।'
