New Zealand tour of Pakistan, 2022-23

Originally, New Zealand were supposed to tour Pakistan in September 2021 which was postponed. Now, the Kiwis are set to tour Pakistan after 20 years, for 2 tests and 3 ODIs to be played in December 2022-January 2023. 
The tour will kick off with the 1st test at Karachi on December 27th, followed by 2nd test in Multan on January 4th. Pakistan and New Zealand have faced off against each other in 60 test matches till now, where Pakistan have been dominant with 25 wins.

The Kiwis have managed to win only 14 tests against Pakistan, while 21 matches have ended in a draw. While 21 tests have been played between the two teams in Pakistan, where the home team has won as many as 13 matches. New Zealand have won just 2 test matches in Pakistan, where they played for the last time in 2002.

After the two tests, the 3-match ODI series will kick off on January 11th, and all the matches will be played in Karachi on January 11th, January 13th and January 15th. In ODIs, Pakistan and New Zealand have played 107 matches between them since 1973, with the last ODI between them played in 2019.

Out of these 107 ODIs, Pakistan have won 55 matches while New Zealand have won 48 matches. One match has ended in a tie while 3 matches have returned no result. In home matches, Pakistan have won 17 out of 20 ODIs against New Zealand, while the Kiwis have managed just 3 ODI wins in Pakistan.
