South Africa are set to host England for a 3-match ODI series from January 27th to February 1st, 2023. The hosts Proteas would look to register a series win and avoid playing qualifiers for the upcoming World Cup 2023 by attaining crucial points in the ODI World Cup Super League points table.
These matches were earlier supposed to be played in December 2020, which was postponed due to a Covid-19 outbreak. The first two ODIs will be played in Bloemfontein while the last match will be played in Kimberley.
The two teams have played 67 ODIs against each other, where the South African team has been slightly dominant with 31 wins to their name. England have registered 29 wins while 1 match has ended in a tie.
Out of these, 31 ODIs have been played in South Africa where the home team has registered 18 wins in comparison to England's 9 wins. One match has ended in a tie while 2 matches have produced no result.
