श्रीलंका और भारत के बीच दूसरा वनडे मैच कोलंबो के आर प्रेमदासा स्टेडियम में खेला जा रहा है। इस मैच में श्रीलंका ने टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने का फैसला किया लेकिन मोहम्मद सिराज ने मैच की पहली ही गेंद पर चरिथ असलंका का ये फैसला गलत साबित कर दिया। सिराज ने मैच की पहली ही गेंद पर पिछले मैच के हीरो रहे पथुम निस्सांका को गोल्डन डक पर आउट कर दिया।
पहली गेंद पर सिराज ने अच्छी लेंथ की गेंद डाली, जो निस्सांका से दूर जा रही थी। निस्सांका के बल्ले का किनारा लगा और विकेट के पीछे केएल राहुल ने आसान से कैच को पकड़कर भारत को पहली सफलता दिलाई। इस तरह से पहले मैच में अर्धशतक बनाने वाले निस्सांका इस मैच में गोल्डन डक पर आउठ हो गए।
