India vs England 3rd Test at Lord’s: History, Glory and High Stakes
The third Rothesay Test of the England vs India series for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy is to be played at Lord’s starting from 10th July 2025. It’s one of the two Test grounds in London often referred to as the Home of Cricket. Lord’s is the home of Middlesex County Cricket Club, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the ICC Europe. Lord’s was the HQ of the ICC till August 2005.
The Test match at Lord’s is a major social, cultural event in the England summer – together with Wimbledon, Silverstone, The Open and Ascot and the arrival of cherry in the markets. Playing a Test at Lord's, is still considered a pinnacle of a career, to many cricketers.
